Welcome to the 48th Annual Marin Championships

A Level 3 National Tournament

Mill Valley Tennis Club is once again hosting the Marin Championships, a Category II National Tournament that dates back to the club’s founding in the 1930’s. This year we expect to have over 300 entrants in over 250 matches. Last year’s attendance exceeded 1,000 over the five-day period at three beautiful venues: Mill Valley Tennis Club, The Club at Harbor Point and Scott Valley Swimming & Tennis Club.
 
Top level men and women tennis players from several states will be competing in singles and doubles over 10 age categories: 30’s, 35’s, 40’s, 45’s, 50’s, 55’s, 60’s, 65’s, 70’s, 75’s, and mixed doubles in 35’s and 50’s.
 
We anticipate this year’s prize money to be in the $25,000 range based on last year’s successes. This event has over the years, become one of the most anticipated events in Southern Marin, where local tennis enthusiasts enjoy a high level of play in beautiful and intimate surroundings. This tournament has won Senior Tournament of the Year awards for Northern California in 2016, 2018 and 2019.
